Creating opportunities for entrepreneurial African women in Spain

Tuesday, 24th January, 2017. The Women for Africa Foundation (Mujeres por África) together with the University of Granada and Red Hekima, with the backing of Santander Universidades, is launching a course for African businesswomen in an aim to boost the role of women in business, strengthen their level of competitiveness and expand their leadership and business management skills.

The course is aimed at African women resident in Andalusia. A small group of businesswomen or female entrepreneurs with a well-prepared business idea will be selected to be given practical training suited to their needs for one week.

Enrolment will be open until 15th February.

As for the content and work method, the aim is for the participants to be given training via seminars and workshops while at the same time they may apply the knowledge acquired to their own businesses, setting goals and reflecting on what has been learnt each day.

The training will be given in the University of Granada. The course is free of charge and includes academic training and accommodation in a university residence.

Date: 27-31 March, 2017. Duration: 5 days Timetable: morning and afternoon
