The data provided will be treated for the following purposes:

  • Send information about the Foundation or news within the foundational scope. The legal basis of this data processing is base don the legitimate interest in the relationship generated with you.
  • Respond and satisfy your requests. The legal basis is based on the contact relationship that we maintain with you. The requested data need to be collected in order to be able to manage and respond your request.
  • Manage the registration as volunteers or friends of the Foundation. The legal basis of this data processing is the execution of a contractual relationship. The requested data need to be collected in order to process your enrolment.

3. DATA CONSERVATION PERIOD

Personal data will be stored as long as the relationship between both parties remains in force and, subsequently, for the period of time during which any legal responsibility may arise (egg, until the limitation period of the responsibility that may derive from the regulations in terms of data protection or cyber security). In case of data processing for the purpose of sending information about the Foundation or news within the foundational scope, your data will be kept as long as you do not oppose to continue receiving information from the Foundation.

4. ASSIGNMENTS AND INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

To the extent that some programs of the Foundation may be carried out in countries located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), your personal data may be transferred to those countries for the execution of such programs. In the same vein, your data may be shared to our IT service providers; witch may be located outside the EEA. If you would like more information regarding the guarantees subscribed by the Foundation in terms of international data transfers, please contact us at fundacion@mujeresporafrica.es. No other communications of your personal data to third parties are foreseen.

5. RIGHTS

The user may exercise at any time and free of charge the data protection rights listed below, by written notice sent to the Foundation’s address or by email to fundación@mujeresporafrica.es. The interested party must prove their identity in all applications (by means of a copy of their ID or an equivalent identification document) and identic ate the specific right to be exercised. The rights you might exercise are the following:

  • Right to access your personal data and request a copy.
  • Right to rectify your data when they are inaccurate.
  • Right to request the deletion of your personal data.
  • Right to request the limitation of the treatment, in which case the Foundation will only keep the date to comply with their legal obligations.
  • Right to data portability, consisting in receiving the personal data facilitated by the user in a structured format, for common use and mechanical reading.
  • Right to oppose the processing of your personal data.
  • Right to revoke the consent previously granted.

The user can submit claims to the competent authority in matters of data protection; in Spain, it is the Spanish Agency for Data Protection (www.aepd.es). In any case, we are at your disposal for any further clarifications you should consider necessary.
